How to Measure your Head Size?

A guide about -How to Measure your head size for first time wig wearers

Choosing the first wig can be challenging when it comes to finding the right size for your head. It's okay, every wig-wearing woman has most probably had the same experience at first, so you are not alone.
The most common wig size is "Average" which will fit most people (as the average-sized head is 21.5 inches (52 cm) -22 inches (54 cm).

For those that fall into the Small or the Large range (don't stress, we've got you too boo, boo), you are not limited for choices, in fact, you can still get your desired wig just as easily, send us an email at info@cocoandmelon.com with your head measurements and we will make the wig for you at the same price. 😍😍😍

Below is a measuring guide and we also put together a short video for you to watch to help you find your correct wig size. If at any time you have questions, be sure to reach out to us.

Wearing a wig that is too big or too small can cause a number of issues.

  • When a wig is too small, it could cause headaches due to being too tight, it will ride up at the back (which just looks odd).
  • A wig that is too big isn't good either as it can fall/ fly off (oh lawd, ain't no one got time for that).
  • The point is a wig that doesn't fit properly is a big waste of money, is off-putting, and never looks natural or good (and frankly speaking we ain't about that mess).
